FAQ
The following table outlines typical conditions. Please don't hesitate to call for up to the minute information on what's hitting.
| Species |
Season |
Comments |
| Trout |
Year Round |
The winter months are typically above freezing during the day and the Trout fishing is excellent. In the summer months the cool water from the dam keeps the tail waters trout friendly. |
| Bass, Striper |
Year Round |
The spring and summer months can be particularly good for Largemouth and Whites while Striper make for a year around Spectacular Hunt. |
| Walleye |
March through October |
The spring spawn brings them into the river, the plentiful forage keeps them here. March April, May and June are fierce, while the summer months find the predators roaming for forage feeding on the bass and trout. Fall you have the feeding run getting ready for winter. |
